24k Magic was released in October 7, 2016 by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. 24k magic was released by Atlantic Records as the lead single for his album on both digital download and streaming due to them believing greatly that it is an instant grat track for those who had pre-ordered the album before release. The genre this song is specified as is funk, Disco and contemporary R&B which was heavily influenced by hip hop. The hit single managed to reach number one in New Zealand, France, Belgium, Argentina and Israel.

In the opening scene of the music video for 24k magic the camera is getting closer and closer (tracking) while rolling it to a private jet with three flash private cars awaiting his arrival. This instantly gives the audience the idea that he is tremendously wealthy and likes to show it off due to the high number of expensive objects within the first three seconds when watching the video. In the background there is a hotel called the MGM grand in which is a Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It Is known for being the biggest hotel in the United States with one of the most expensive rooms in the world at a price of £25000 a night in which is where Bruno Mars shot many scenes in in his music video.

Even the clothes in this this video is trying to show how superior Bruno Mars is with his Versace clothes and his expensive jewellery all over him perpetually throughout it in which is indicating that he's a " dangerous man with some money in my pocket" with his unreasonably expensive designer clothes. The females in the video however are all dressed to a Lilliputian amount with only a bikini suggesting that the director is displaying woman as only to look at rather than just being there as an individual just like the men as if they were bestowed at the same level as the Men then either the men would be wearing the same amount as the woman or the woman wear the same amount as the men. The use of the clothing in this video gives the audience that gender and equality is non-important as in these men are portrayed as superior with the different number of clothes each gender has and also the expense payed for each person’s clothes.

The positioning of the Models, Bruno mars and his mates also show a theme of superiority over the other gender because of how in every scene when the males and the females are in the same scene, the females are continuously behind the boys making them just be the background of the shoot. This makes the ethnicity of the female gender seem as if the only purpose of their gender is to be used as a way to display that there only equality is there looks.

in the music video one of the scenes is located in the casino (1.56) when Bruno Mars flicks an expensive wine at one of the models while singing the lyrics"About to blame it on Jesus. Hashtag blessed".These lyrics corresponding with his actions while doing this suggests that he is calling himself some sort of angel due to the way he flicks the wine at the girl with wine (known as a holy drink as Jesus can turn water into wine) highlighting he is holy as he can create anybody as blessed as if they were blessed by Jesus or god. in my verdict I believe that Bruno Mars is implying that he is powerful and that nobody can touch him as he has the power to bless him.
