reason I chose the artist to be this age is due to the fact that a 23 yr. old is more mature than a 18 yr. old as the likelihood is that they have finished their education, and have all experienced the beginning of being an independent adult. This means that not only will they be more mature and interested in to a protest themed song, but will also be aware of these issues as individuals at this age will be able to understand what the issues that the target audience share due them being in the same generational gap as 18-25 yr. olds.

The artists persona will be based upon a individual that sees everything as fair and unprejudiced, rather than favouring one social group to the other, he will see each as one whether its social class, race etc.
